CD Girls is a Las Vegas studio (est. 1998) that produces all its
own adult content. Though we're not sure, we assume the "CD"
refers to CD-ROM discs (remember them?).
This is a very solid site, with little to find fault with. Since it
is a studio site specializing in video production there is a large movie
archive. Some of the older stuff is just average in quality, but all of
the newer videos are very professionally done. The video playback
approaches "DVD quality" at the high end, being 1000 kb/s at
640x480. Most of the clips are 2 to 5 minutes in length and provide a picture that is sharp at full
screen and excellent sound (which is made good use of). The clips don't
feature a lot of jumpy editing, so you have a chance to really get into
a scene. The videos also come in a range of formats and resolutions,
which is very user-friendly.
Also user-friendly is the site Search function, which is the main
navigation tool. Nothing fancy, but it lets you find your way around a
large amount of material fairly quickly. Of course all pic sets and
video files come with thumbnails and download info.
The variety of material is also excellent, covering just about every
fetish at least minimally. Currently the site updates six times a week
(which is great), in six different update categories: Hardcore, Machines, Masturbation,
Sybian,
Fetish (usually some kind of bondage or d/s action), and Girls on Girls.
There is also a bit of peeing, and some young-old pairings (featuring a
fellow named "Uncle Jesse"). In particular, however, the
site's big kink is for machine (i.e., mechanical dildo) and
Sybian fucking. This is a specialty of CD Girls, and if it's your thing
you can expect a lot of it.
In addition to this wide variety of content there is also a large
selection of models (over 300 by our count) that includes professional names
like Sylvia Saint,
Raylene, Jana Cova, Jenna Haze and Britney Skye. Most
of the girls are good-looking and do a good job playing up. As noted,
the excellent sound helps a lot with the squeals.
Studio sites that shoot a lot of video are the flip-side of the
"erotic photography" sites that specialize in pics. The video
you get with most photographer sites is usually
"behind-the-scenes" stuff that isn't very good. The pics you
get with most studio sites are usually
blown-up vidcaps not worth bothering with. CD Girls is, however, trying
to make an exception by adding a "high quality images" section
(that there is such a separate section says something about the average quality
of the regular images). These pics are much bigger and sharper, but are
nothing special in terms of the actual photography and given the quality
of the video pretty much redundant anyway. Pics just aren't what this
site is all about.
Extras include a new section of full-length video (streaming, from
"Dreamzotic"), "South Beach Amateurs" (these girls
are not very
pretty), and a "Photo Mega Gallery" (we weren't even tempted
to look). The "Specials" section is just a story area. When we
visited there was some reference to "live broadcasts," but we couldn't see
where they were. We might attribute this to growing pains, as part of
the site seemed to be in development. With the amount of new content
being constantly added, we can forgive them.
CD Girls doesn't have a really distinctive style or personality, but
it is large, very professional, and busy with the updates. It
has a wide enough selection to make almost any porn surfer happy, but is
especially recommended for anyone with a girl-machine fetish.
