| Review:
Christine Young is our kind of girl. She is a pure Internet product.
Recently she's been featured in some professional videos, but she got
her start as a model with Montreal's own Bruno B. (in July 2002). From
there she seems to have graduated quickly to setting up her own site,
which is part of a very good network, BrainPass,
that also features such productions
as Peter North.com,
Hardcore Fiesta,
Shelby Bell,
and Sweet
Amylee (links to reviews). This is one of those "one membership
gets you into a bunch of sites" deals, and it is an excellent value in this
case since all of these sites are above average efforts.
As a French-Canadian gal from the Saguenay-Lac-St. Jean region,
Christina does speak with an accent. And some of her "friends"
don't seem to speak the anglais at all. This gives the site a bit of an
exotic flair. Christine will also appeal to teenie fans. Her bio lists
her as 19 (but when was that written?), and she looks like she could
be younger. Obviously the surname "Young" is being used to
make some kind of promotional point.
Like the other sites in this network, the presentation is very nice.
Site design is easy to navigate and attractive. We'd like someone to try
a bit of proof-reading ("starring" is spelled
"staring", "rating" is "ratting",
new "seeries" are "comming soon"), but this is
nit-picking. We were a little surprised to see there weren't a lot of
personal extras. There is a diary but it's only updated once every week
or two. When we visited there was mention made of live shows coming
soon, but they weren't up and running yet.
The site's showpiece is the video section. All the videos are
available for download in high and low-res versions, in three different
formats each. So the low-res versions are 56 wmv (only useful as a
preview), 128 wmv, and 350 mpg. The high-res videos are 228 wmv, 650 mpg, and 700 wmv
(looks nice!). The videos also come with a selection of screen captures
(though not enough actual thumbnails from the clips). The pics (not the
vidcaps) are large (800x600) and sharp, but mostly solo masturbation and
posing. Still, well worth checking out.
For such a well-designed site we thought there were a couple of
things that could have been added. File sizes and more thumbnails would
be nice to go along with the clips. And there should also be an option
to download full clips as well. We tried one movie at 700 kb/s that was
divided into five clips. The first was only 4.8 megs, so we
thought this was going to be a short movie. The second was 47 megs. Then
the third and fourth were 25 megs each and the last 10 megs. The whole
thing was close to an hour long, but you can see where more thumbnails
and info to go with the links would be a help. As it was, we used the
low-res movies as a preview.
The technical quality of these videos is great. In terms of content
you basically get to see Christine with her girlfriends, boyfriends, and
solo. She doesn't do anything real kinky (like swallowing or peeing or
bondage), but she covers the bases with a lot of young-girl charm and
enthusiasm.
There are also some clips of her friends. Updates occur every week
and when we visited she was up to 40 movies (as noted, these are quite
substantial). The production doesn't break the bank. Most of the movies
seem to take place on the same bed. And we were shocked to see some
movies shot by a stationary camera. One long girl-girl movie we watched
even has Christine getting up every now and then to change the camera's
position, then running back to the bed. We couldn't understand this at all. She can't find someone to
hold the camera for her? We're Canadian! Call us and we'll come and do
it!
Christine's site is very solid on the technical side, and
she has some real talent and a distinctive look. This network as
a whole is very professionally run (and when you look at all the stuff
you get, a real deal). We would have liked a bit more imagination
and effort put into some of the actual filming though.
