| Review:
HardToon isn't a great original site--very few cartoon sites are--but
it is a solid archive of cartoon porn.
There isn't much to find fault with. The thumbnail pages load very
quickly and the site design makes for easy navigation. The layout
features sections with 3-D pics, hentai, manga, toons, comics, stories,
art and drawings, a members bonus section and support. All of these were
full of content, though not very much of it is "exclusive"
(and what is exclusive isn't that good). Instead, the best material is
the collection of scans of classic porn comics, including such familiar
names and titles as Serpieri (Druuna), Sorayama, the Bondage Faeries,
Crepax, and many, many more. Updates occur daily ("a new toon every
noon!"), though they are
usually just more scans rather than anything new. Still, this content is
all pretty good and will be well worth a look for cartoon and comic
lovers.
Hentai fans will also be thrilled to find a load of video hidden away
in the "members bonus" area. Again, this will be mostly
familiar stuff for collectors, but there is a lot of it. In addition to
a number of separate scenes, there were 15 full-length movies broken
into files of around 10 megs. This section could have really used some
thumbnails, but we enjoyed the content.
Disappointments? We would have liked more superhero stuff. Some of
the scans didn't seem to be as clear as others. Within the different
sections some more help with navigation would have been nice (like
thumbnails of comic covers and the ability to search by artist name). In
general, aside from the updates we got the sense there wasn't a lot of
maintenance going on. Don't be expecting a site like this to do
requests. Just get ready for your hard drive to take a hit. To avoid the
