(Note: There is no indication that this site is
updating, and yet the price has almost doubled--to a ridiculous
"pornstar" rate--since our visit. If you want Jill Kelly,
there are so many other, better, places to get her: Videosz,
Twistys,
etc.-Eds.)
This is an OK site that we still expected to be better. Jill Kelly
is a name pornstar with her own production company, so she has to be
judged by a tougher standard than the amateurs.
If it looks familiar, that's probably because it's done by the same
people who do Jenna Jameson's Club
Jenna. Some of the problems with that site are also found here, in
particular the absence of good fetish material. The section identified
as "Fetish" is skimpy, consisting almost exclusively of pics
of Jill's feet. This isn't good enough. Also annoying are the "Jill
Kelly.com" credits that are placed all over the newer video clips
(Jenna does this too).
The video section is below average, featuring a handful of clips and
a number of full movies that can only be viewed as streaming video. We liked
the solo stuff where Jill plays to the camera, since she really knows
how to talk dirty. More thumbnails, or at least descriptions, are needed
on the index page though, since it is impossible to tell what any of the
longer clips are about. Needless to say, what we really wanted was stuff
we could download.
The organization of the galleries doesn't make it easy to find the
pics you're interested in. Just what is "Glamour" anyway?
Isn't it basically the same as "Solo"? Even the thumbnails can
be misleading, as some galleries don't seem to have much to do with the
thumbnailed pic. Picture quality is also pretty hit-and-miss, with a lot
of the "Behind the Scenes" photos looking like blown-up
polaroids. Some of the sets will also be familiar to dedicated fans.
There definitely needs to be more content added here. But when? Updates
seem pretty inconsistent. On the plus side,
at least the hardcore content is pretty good, though the presence of her
toy boy Julian gets a little tiring.
The extras are the usual. The "Friends" section is large,
but the content was all pretty old to us, with very few big name stars.
Chats and a Live Cam were scheduled, but didn't seem to be occurring
very frequently. Jill may not have settled into a regular
schedule yet.
Just an average effort, with no indication
that things are improving.
