Is Lisa Lipps--the "Legendary Lippster"--the sexiest of all
the big tit adult stars? Well, to give you some indication of our own
bias when reviewing this site, we'll just say that's an opinion we won't
argue with. There's no denying this lady is hot--or that she's one of
the hardest working Webmasters around. Lisa was one of the first
pornstars out of the gate and onto the Web with her own site, which she
still manages to run all by herself.
Since you know how much we love amateurs, we'll start off with what's
not-so-good about this approach. The site itself is pretty crude. Over
the years Lisa has experimented with different styles of thumbnail
sheet, so the galleries don't have a uniform look. The pictures also
vary a great deal in size and resolution, and in some cases
a few of them even seem to be missing. Some aspects of the design reminded us,
painfully, of the personal homepage clutter typical of the Internet in
the late twentieth century (stock quotes? weather reports? screen wipe
effects? clip art?). Finally, we have to regret the amount of
advertising we found. Some of this was for Lisa's
own merchandise, which is fine, but there were also a lot of
unwelcome foreign links.
The video clips take two forms. The archive of live cam videos are
poor quality and pretty dull. The mpegs from her "events" are
much better (Lisa can even talk dirty!), but still too short (typically 15 seconds). Longer videos
are definitely in order. There should also be thumbnail previews in both
cases.
The site's main draw are the personal pics, which are arranged into
over a hundred galleries. Most of the pictures are large format and high
quality, though we were a little concerned that the quality of some of
the more recent sets wasn't as consistently good as the earlier ones.
The material is a good mix of hard and softcore, without a lot of
extreme or fetish content (with the exception of some first-rate pee
pics).
The external extras aren't
very impressive. Updates are frequent, but due to Lisa's schedule they can also be
irregular (her diary, for those of you who actually read these things,
hadn't been updated in several months). There are live chats scheduled,
though these can be pretty irregular as well. While we had the sense
Lisa really wants to do a lot with her live features, there are still
bugs in the works. Most members will probably want to stick to the basic
menu.
