What a disappointment.
Unless you've been living in a cave--or some other unfortunate
porn-free environment--for the last year, then you must have seen
promotional material for New Sensations. This new studio hit the Net
with a big splash, rounding up a stable of talent second to none. Stars
like Jenna Jameson, Tera Patrick, Sylvia Saint, Stacy Valentine, Briana
Banks, Brittany Andrews . . . it almost seemed too good to be true.
It was. If you've seen the free galleries of these stars you've
already seen the best this site has to offer. In fact, when we paid a
visit there were no pics featuring any of the names we just
mentioned that we hadn't seen before. The only difference is that some
of them are in a "large" format--which is to say, they are
regular size by the standards of most other sites (regular size at New
Sensations is small). They are also of surprisingly poor quality,
sometimes even
seeming to be shot out of focus. The results are far from flattering to
the girls. We didn't think it was possible for Brianna Banks to look so
bad.
The movies aren't much better. Some are available for download, but
others are only streaming. The format is RealPlayer, though the site may
be changing to mpegs in the future (at least that's the sense we got).
The resolution is murky and the action is incredibly repetitive.
We watched a two-and-a-half minute video of Jenna going through the same
poses about twenty times.
The rest of the site is similarly unimpressive. There are a lot of
amateurs thrown into the mix, a Peter North section (more talent
wasted), and features like the "Sybian diaries" with videos of
girls riding the mechanical bull. Yet compared to the excellent quality of the
Sybian material to be found at sites like CD
Girls and Fucking
Machines, New Sensations just doesn't measure up.
No site which has this much talent and this much content can be a
total write-off. But when you think of what it might have been . . .
