Several years ago
we got to
meet pornstar Stacy Valentine at a signing. Before long we got to
talking about her work with Peter North. Stacy was impressed with the
Master Blaster, to say the least. She remembered how he had already
delivered one of his major loads to the face one day, so she expected to
get off easy when it came to be her turn.
"No chance," she muttered. "I should have worn a
raincoat."
We were reminded of this anecdote when we came to review Peter
North.com. The thing is, we weren't expecting much out of this site.
Why? Because it's a pornstar site and official pornstar sites are almost
always huge disappointments.
But Peter North.com is an exception to the rule.
This is what a pornstar's official site should be. Or at least
part of it. Yes it has all of
the limitations that you've probably come to expect from a
"pornstar" site, and a few other ones as well. Leading off,
Mr. North himself isn't very heavily involved. There didn't seem to be
any material exclusive to the site. No personal journal or chats (though
what chatting with a male pornstar would be like isn't something
we've thought a lot about). Not
much of a bio. "Ladies love him and men envy him. Starlets know
when they hit the big leagues when they pair up with him."
Yes, you know you've really made it girls when your face is covered
in one of Peter's messy money shots. You can wear it with pride.
There is an emphasis on marketing throughout, hawking Pete's videos, sex
toys, "penis pumps" and "cumshot pills" (we are
dubious about the efficacy of these latter products, but we're just
naturally suspicious people).
So why are we so enthusiastic about this site?
It really delivers. PeterNorth.com is
actually part of BrainPass,
a network of sites including such titles
as Christine Young,
Hardcore Fiesta,
Shelby
Bell, Sweet Amylee
and Lex
Steele.
Your membership to any one of these sites gets you
into all the rest. And these people know what they're
doing. Each site is very well designed, offering a nice variety of video downloads. For
every video scene you can choose between three different low-res and
high-res versions. The low-res versions are 56 wmv (ouch!), 128
wmv, and 350 mpg. The high-res videos are 228 wmv, 650 mpg, and 700 wmv
(nice!). The videos also come with a selection of screen captures
(though not enough actual thumbnails from the clips).
The clips here mainly come from three of Peter's video series: North
Pole (around 180 clips), Deep Throat This (nearly 200 clips),
and Anal Addicts (70). New stuff is being added weekly. These
clips are quite generous, being around 15-20 minutes in length for the North
Pole and Anal Addict clips, and 5-7 minutes for the Deep
Throat This material. The only complaint we had was that we couldn't
download full scenes as one large file.
This is a lot of professionally produced, high quality porn, all of
it available for download. Not all of the clips feature Peter (he can't
be in every scene), but you do see a lot of him in action. And the girls
he works with really are some of the best. Of course the emphasis is on
straightforward hardcore fucking and blowjobs throughout. Lots of
facials (but not cum eating). The anal movies obviously include ass
fucking. But this isn't a fetish site.
In addition to all this video (and the other sites, all of them
having the same basic layout), there are some production photos taken
from various shoots. The quality is better than the pics that come with
the clips, which are just screen captures. There are also a few
"behind-the-scenes" movie clips that are actually kind of
interesting and presented in the same high quality formats.
