"Spunkmouth." Where do you go from there?
To be honest, Spunkmouth is a pretty easy site to review for what are
all the right reasons. The site "tour" basically shows you
everything that's on tap. You can preview all of the sets and even see
some trailers. Kudos for being up front.
The action here is all boy-girl or group (no lesbo and not much you
would call solo). The girls tend to be on the young side, if that's your
thing. There isn't anything very special about the sex or production.
The site promises a new girl added every week. When we visited there
were six gallery pages with six "scenes" on each. Each scene
comes with around an hour of video (which you can download as high-band
or with a 56k, if you're patient), a load of the usual crumby vidcaps
and (what's better) a selection of high-res pics that actually aren't
that bad. Some thumbnails to go with the video scene selections would be
a nice improvement, but navigation is pretty straightforward. There is
also frequent mention made of "172 bonus sites". We
checked this out, but when we clicked on one of the bonus sites we were
immediately hit with a message telling us we were going to be billed a
dollar. We beat a hasty retreat. Oh well. It's not like that's what we
came in for.
Still, we only give this site a cool recommendation for two reasons:
One, it doesn't have a lot of personality or originality. The text that
introduces each scene is well written (if sometimes fanciful), but the
scenes themselves are quite generic and without any real imagination. We
were expecting this site to have a bit more of an identity.
Two, some of the talent is, to be honest, brutal. We found many of
the girls to be pretty much bottom-of-the-barrel, with bad teeth, funny
eyes, and way, way too many tattoos. (No, we're not going to stop
complaining about porn chicks with tattoos! Stop it ladies!).
Just judging it on its technical merits, this is a solid,
professional site that doesn't try to mislead you. But if you've already
seen a lot of this stuff, just being professional might not be enough.
